I have the weight reduction tape set. I find the active relaxation tape very effective. I respond to it very quickly and can induce a state of relaxation pretty easily, even without the tape. It was effective right away.

Of the other tapes - I like the third tape best, the one that ends with the affirmations. I think they are positive and helpful. (I have seen subtle changes in the food choices and portions I choose since beginning the tape series.)

The biggest problem I have is getting 30 minutes uninterrupted twice a day to take full advantage of the program. I have three kids (two teenagers) home for the summer and there isn't a quite moment. I don't attend the meetings because of location and traffic concerns. I live in North County. It's almost impossible to get to the south bay in a reasonable time frame during rush hour. Since listening to the weight management tapes I find myself making better food choices and have cut back on my portion sizes. I no longer want or need to have seconds or even to clean my plate.
